Rapid Prototyping of LGP with optimal extractor patterns. For this family of products Visus offers a number of proprietary rapid prototyping techniques enabling to produce a pilot batches of LGP replicas for evaluation before going to mass production. In many cases we also offer final masters required for mass production by injection molding. Our methods are principally different from micro-machining, e.g. diamond turning, lithography and etching all of which are relatively expensive and time consuming and require dedicated facilities and manpower. For small formats (<5”) unique one micron nano-extractors can be replicated compared to conventional 10-30 um extractor size. Use of smaller extractors can eliminate a need for additional one – two diffuser films universally used in existing BLUs
